Paying for ChatGPT with a crypto card
Stablecoin-only collateral: approved USDC and USDT on Ethereum. The credit limit is 100% of that collateral value, with no haircut. No BTC, ETH, SOL or other coins are accepted.

A ChatGPT Plus or API subscription is billed as a recurring card charge, usually in US dollars. A virtual card covers it the same way any card does, provided the confirmed spending amount is available when the renewal lands and the payment is accepted.
How ChatGPT billing works
ChatGPT Plus is a monthly recurring charge; OpenAI API usage is billed against a prepaid or usage balance. Both are card payments, and both renew or top up on their own schedule. Keep enough confirmed USDC or USDT collateral available so a renewal or an auto-reload is not declined.
Why a stablecoin card suits it
OpenAI charges in dollars, and a confirmed USDC or USDT deposit gives you the same dollar amount to pay with — so there is no surprise conversion on the subscription line itself. Blockchain network fees are paid on your deposit, separately from the $0 card fee.
What to watch
A price change, a plan upgrade or a failed renewal behaves the same as on any card. Currency conversion can still apply if your account currency differs from the charge, and acceptance, authentication and issuer rules apply. This is general information, not a guarantee a specific charge will clear.
Cashback
Eligible settled purchases earn 1.5% cashback, capped at $50 per transaction and $250 per month. A refund can reverse previously credited cashback. IndevBank is a NO KYC crypto card; identity documents are not collected.
